Based in St Andrews, Australia, I design and make woven textiles and objects. I'm passionate about using natural fibres and dyes in my work for their intrinsic beauty and in an effort to minimise harm to our environment and all who inhabit it.
Through textiles I uncover and celebrate the tradition, skill and transfer of knowledge that keeps the craft alive. I aim to be part of this tradition by marrying my fascination with the properties of the materials I work with and the tens of thousands of years of textile craft that have come before me with the reinvention that comes from present-day inspiration.
